coaching

I’m an individual and organizational coach certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I have also completed additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the Foundations for Coaches program offered by the IFS Institute.

My primary focus is money coaching for individuals, couples, families and funders. I especially enjoy coaching people who want to give away more money, but are paralyzed by indecision, overwhelm, or other emotional conflicts.

In addition to money coaching, I work with organizational leaders and teams who are struggling to stay grounded during times of extreme instability and change.

I support clients in imagining new possibilities and overcoming barriers to realizing their goals. I blend tools that include generative questions, “parts work”, somatic awareness, appreciative inquiry, and goal setting to help clients clarify values, and take aligned action.

Coaching is a collaborative, client-led process – distinct from consulting, training, or therapy – that helps people unlock their personal and professional potential to achieve the goals they identify.

Money Coaching

I support individuals, couples, families and funders to clarify their values and goals around money, and then to take action to create positive change. This work often includes navigating emotional and pyschological barriers around money, including, guilt, overwhelm, isolation and tension in relational and family dynamics. It also typically involves aligning ones values with the way they invest and redistribute their wealth.

You will benefit from coaching if you:

  • Experience dissonance in your relationship with money
  • Experience a sense of urgency to move money quickly to protect democracy and create a more equitable world
  • Feel overwhelmed and isolated
  • Feel stymied by the question of “how much is enough” to hold onto
  • Struggle with some level of disconnect between your values around money and those of family members or loved ones

I bring personal and professional experience in philanthropy—including founding a family foundation and redistributing inherited wealth—to guide you with empathy and insight.

Leadership Coaching

I work with Executive Directors, senior managers, and other mission-driven leaders.

You will benefit if you:

  • Are under pressure to adapt to fast-changing threats in the external environment
  • Lack confidence in setting and achieving meaningful goals
  • Need support to develop strategies for change management
  • Are looking to increase trust with your team

Together, we explore blind spots, identify strengths, and overcome internal barriers that may be holding you back.
